Talk And Run and Starosta collided in the home straight. Special Lies and Proven Sal collided approaching the winning post.
Starosta was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both thighs and both triceps. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to trainer Ms. S. Thomas regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Starosta. Stewards directed that Starosta be boxed first in future events.
