Coral and Banjo Blitz were slow to begin.  Coral, Unix Bale and Born Ali collided soon after the start.  Coral checked off Unix Bale approaching the first turn.  Unix Bale and Born Ali collided on the first turn.  Unix Bale checked off Born Ali on the third turn checking Nimble Icon and Banjo Blitz.  Coral checked off Nimble Icon on the fourth turn.  Coral clipped the heels of Nimble Icon entering the back straight.

Coral was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  A sample was subsequently taken from the greyhound, unplaced in the event.

Samples were taken from the first two placegetters in the event - Mepunga Tiara (1st) and Born Ali (2nd). 

Bekim Hatrick was slow to begin.  Zipping Joe and Bekim Hatrick collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn.  Zipping Joe raced wide on the second turn checking Bekim Hatrick.  Hurricane Isaac and Bekim Hatrick collided on the home turn.

Samples were taken from the first three placegetters in the event - Zipping Rory (1st), Dyna Willow (2nd) and Zipping Joe (3rd).

Infinite Wish was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to it's right triceps and right groin.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Zipping Maggie was slow to begin.  Echelonic Action, Galloping Rocky and Paris Sparks collided on the first turn checking Galloping Rocky and Paris Sparks.  Xylia Allen and Looby Lu collided on the fourth turn.

Samples were taken from the first three placegetters in the event - Xylia Allen (1st), Looby Lu (2nd) and Echelonic Action (3rd).

Flying Twist was re-vetted during kennelling after the greyhound was ill in it's kennel.  The greyhound was passed fit to race.

Ms. G. Debono, trainer of Risk Of Damage redeclared a new weight of 30.0kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Risk Of Damage last raced at 28.8kgs.

Risk Of Damage was slow to begin.  Hostile and Coconut Grove collided soon after the start.  Mumma Hook, Hostile and Coconut Grove collided approaching the first turn checking Hostile and Coconut Grove.  Mumma Hook, Coconut Grove, Roy Galo, Clone Your Own, Take Charge and Risk Of Damage collided on the first turn checking Clone Your Own, Roy Galo, Maximum Lil and Risk Of Damage.  Hostile checked off Mumma Hook entering the back straight.  Risk Of Damage raced wide in the back straight.  Hostile and Coconut Grove collided several times approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking Coconut Grove.
