Takos Princess and Rusty Peg collided soon after the start. All On Prize, All Mighty One and Jockey's Well collided approaching the first turn. Rusty Peg and Rumbalara Girl collided approaching the first turn. Rumbalara Girl, All On Prize, Jockey's Well and Red Bomber collided on the first turn checking All On Prize and Jockey's Well. Rusty Peg checked off Dark Harmony on the first turn checking Rumbalara Girl and Red Bomber. Takos Princess crossed to the outside approaching the home turn checking Rusty Peg, Takos Princess, All On Prize and Red Bomber, Rusty Peg galloped on the heels of Takos Princess as a result. Takos Princess veered out and marred the running of All On Prize on the home turn and several times in the home straight. 

Takos Princess was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Stewards spoke to Mr. I. Cockerell the representative of the greyhound Takos Princess.  Acting under GAR69(1) stewards charged Takos Princess with marring and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Ballarat and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

She's Got Issues and Wizard Of Offaly were slow to begin.

Jack Winter, Tigress Eight and No Mower collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Tigress Eight. Jack Winter and No Mower collided approaching the first turn checking No Mower. Wizard Of Offaly, Jack Winter and Sally Gardens collided on the first turn checking Jack Winter, No Mower and Tigress Eight. Jack Winter and Sally Gardens raced wide in the home straight. 

Crockett's Boy, Run On Rosey and Claretown Bart were slow to begin.

Kilcolegan Cross crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Kirabilli George, House Of Stark and Crockett's Boy. Kirabilli George checked off Claretown Bart on the first turn checking Dyna Unique. Run On Rosey and Kilcolegan Cross collided approaching the home turn. 

Crockett's Boy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right hind leg. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Water Bag was a late scratching at 1.45p.m. due to injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Seabrook Snow was slow to begin.

Granola Bale, Best Perfume and Capacity collided soon after the start checking Best Perfume. Caramel Mix, Capacity, Sofa So Good and Granola Bale collided on the first turn checking Capacity and Best Perfume. Best Perfume checked off Capacity approaching the home turn. Granola Bale checked off Mary's Guess approaching the home turn checking Caramel Mix and Seabrook Snow. Sofa So Good checked off Seabrook Snow in the home straight. Mary's Guess, Caramel Mix and Seabrook Snow collided in the home straight checking Caramel Mix.

Fireball Fury stumbled at box rise and lost ground as a result. Jewel Bale checked off Morson Senor approaching the first turn. Coopnarcha, Tiggerlong Amigo and Morson Senor collided approacihng the first turn checking Jewel Bale and severely checking Tiggerlong Amigo and Morson Senor.  

Fireball Fury was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both thighs. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Morson Senor was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Ester Bale was slow to begin.

Can Can Hurrican crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Hard Merchandise, Slipaway Twister and Hornsey's Mate. Hornsey's Mate, Slipaway Twister, Hard Merchandise, Ester Bale and Rapid Roy collided on the first turn. Piffin' Yonnies checked off Can Can Hurrican on the first turn. Piffin' Yonnies and Rapid Roy collided in the back straight. Ester Bale and Hard Merchandise collided several times approaching the second turn. Dynamo's Miss checked off Can Can Hurrican on the second turn. Hard Merchandise and Ester Bale collided several times approaching the home turn checking Hard Merchandise. Dynamo's Miss and Hornsey's Mate collided approaching the home turn. Rapid Roy, Piffin' Yonnies and Hornsey's Mate collided approaching the home turn checking Piffin' Yonnies. 

Sundance Rock, Gazzelliot and Mad Russian collided approaching the first turn checking Gazzelliot. Pyrenees Grand, Gazzelliot and Dunstall collided several times approaching the first turn checking Pyrenees Grand and Dunstall. Sundance Rock and Mad Russian collided on the first turn. Impact Bale and Good Old Oscar collided approaching the home turn. Pyrenees Grand and Dunstall collided entering the home straight.

Bowstreet Buster and Southwood Lexie collided approaching the home turn checking Bowstreet Buster. Senor Gold checked off Lektra Blanket approaching the home turn. Hoofla, Hold On Beau and Kalden Crixus collided soon after the start. Boss and Flippin' Good collided approaching the first turn checking Flippin' Good. Kalden Crixus checked off Hold On Beau approaching the first turn. Kalden Crixus and Flippin' Good collided on the first turn severely checking Flippin' Good. Kalden Crixus checked off Boss approaching the home turn and again entering the home straight. Boss and Nowitzki collided in the home straight checking Nowitzki. Boss and Hoofla collided approaching the winning post checking Hoofla. 

Planetman, Zeb The Hippy, Turanza Magic and Queen Kaboom collided soon after the start. Ikara Bale checked off Our Lucky Day on the first turn. Zeb The Hippy, Turanza Magic and Queen Kaboom collided on the first turn checking Zeb The Hippy and severely checking Turanza Magic and Queen Kaboom. Planetman and Ikara Bale collided several times approaching the home turn. Our Lucky Day cramped in the home straight. 

Our Lucky Day was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound cramped. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms. D. Wright, the handler of the greyhound Our Lucky Day. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
