Steward's Report
Takos Princess and Rusty Peg collided soon after the start. All On Prize, All Mighty One and Jockey's Well collided approaching the first turn. Rusty Peg and Rumbalara Girl collided approaching the first turn. Rumbalara Girl, All On Prize, Jockey's Well and Red Bomber collided on the first turn checking All On Prize and Jockey's Well. Rusty Peg checked off Dark Harmony on the first turn checking Rumbalara Girl and Red Bomber. Takos Princess crossed to the outside approaching the home turn checking Rusty Peg, Takos Princess, All On Prize and Red Bomber, Rusty Peg galloped on the heels of Takos Princess as a result. Takos Princess veered out and marred the running of All On Prize on the home turn and several times in the home straight.
Takos Princess was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
Stewards spoke to Mr. I. Cockerell the representative of the greyhound Takos Princess. Acting under GAR69(1) stewards charged Takos Princess with marring and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Ballarat and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
