Healesville Greyhound Racing Club  20 /7/2014 Stewards contacted S Labozzetta, trainer of Under Threat after he removed the greyhound from the kennels and left the course before having the greyhound vetted. Stewards directed that Under Threat be presented for a veterinary examination at Sandown Park Thursday 24 July prior to the start of the meeting. Stewards issued a warning to Mr Labozzetta for leaving the course prior to obtaining stewards permission.

Under Threat was vetted found to have sustained an injury to the right monkey muscle and stood down until 1.8.2014.

Tommy El and Decanus were slow to begin.  Hold On Wincup checked off Feikuai Molly soon after the start.  Red Line Lad and Santa's Special collided soon after the start.  Red Line Lad, Santa's Special and Miss Penguin collided approaching the first turn.  Red Line Lad and Santa's Special collided on the first turn.  Allen Kessel checked off Feikuai Molly on the first turn checking Hold On Wincup.  Red Line Lad checked off Miss Penguin on the first turn checking Santa's Special.  Tommy El and Miss Penguin collided approaching the home turn checking Hold On Wincup,  Decanus and Miss Penguin.

Mr R. Clark was fined the sum of $50 for his failure to produce the registration card for the greyhound, Hession Boots, pursuant to GAR 33.

Acola Rosebud was quick to begin.  Hession Boots and Miss Society collided soon after the start.  Volksjager Blue and Hession Boots collided approaching the first turn.  Rumero Reason and Dyna Glinda collided on the first turn.  Rinash, Dyna Glinda and Crackerjack Babe collided entering the front straight.  Volksjager Blue checked off Crackerjack Babe on the second turn.

Crackerjack Babe was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Lektra Hawk was slow to begin.  Ollie Bale and Crackerjack Rose collided soon after the start.  Fully Charged and White Walker collided on the first turn.  Fully Charged, Prue Bale, Lektra Hawk and White Walker collided on the first turn checking Fully Charged, severely checking Prue Bale and White Walker.  Keybow and Ollie Bale collided approaching the second turn.

Arktika raced wide approaching the second turn.  Sir Gazza and Paris Sparks collided on the third turn checking Paris Sparks.  Sir Gazza and Oxley Major collided on the third turn.  Fantasizzing and Shall She Rock collided approaching the home turn.  The muzzle of Arktika became dislodged during the event.

Arktika was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the both forearms and to the right quadricep, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Elite Devil crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Ennis Bale and See Him First.  Ennis Bale galloped on the heels of Hostile soon after the start.  Hostile and Ennis Bale collided on the first turn.  Ennis Bale checked off Hostile on the second turn.  Hostile checked off Grubby on the third turn.  Grubby checked off Elite Devil on the third turn.  Hostile checked off Grubby on the home turn.

Lightning Storm was slow to begin.  Fuzzy Buzzy and Lunar Tom collided soon after the start.  Newfire Rosie, Star Doll and Just Ducal collided approaching the first turn.  Lunar Tom failed to pursue the lure entering the front straight and collided with Echelonic Action.  Echelonic Action checked off Lunar Tom on the second turn.  Lunar Tom and Lightning Storm collided on the second turn.  Star Doll checked off Newfire Rosie on the fourth turn checking Just Ducal and Lunar Tom causing Lunar Tom to race wide.  Lunar Tom and Lightning Storm collided approaching the home turn. 

Lunar Tom was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  Stewards spoke to Mr J. Borg, Trainer of the greyhound, Lunar Tom.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1), Stewards charged Lunar Tom with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Sandown Park and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial, All Tracks, pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Jersey Jack was slow to begin.  Soho Rhythm and Awesome Project collided soon after the start.  Jersey Jack and Marcus Joe collided soon after the start.  Dyna Orion and Jersey Jack collided on the first turn.  Clone Your Own and Soho Rhythm collided approaching the second turn.  Clone Your Own and Dream It collided on the second turn.  Jersey Jack and Marcus Joe collided on the third turn.  Dyna Orion checked off Jersey Jack on the home turn.

Jersey Jack was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a puncture wound to the left hind, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Reap The Benefit was slow to begin.  Optimus Bart crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Blinker's On, Darbain Dasher and Becci Leone.  Blinker's On contacted the running rail as a result.  Becci Leone galloped on the heels of Reap The Benefit on the first turn.  Reap The Benefit raced wide on the second turn checking Blinker's On.  Zipping Makka and Optimus Bart collided approaching the second turn.  Zipping Makka checked off Optimus Bart entering the front straight.  Blinker's On and Reap The Benefit collided on the third turn.

Frank Furter was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  Stewards spoke to Mr G. Dailly, Representative of the greyhound, Frank Furter.  Stewards deemed the performance of Frank Furter unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Frank Furter must perform a Satisfactory Trial, All Tracks, before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Tarks Nemesis was vetted following the event and was revetted following Race 12.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to both pectoral muscles as well and soreness to the left monkey muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
