Black Tilly and Jingellic were slow to begin. Binalong Sands, Talented Miss and Rozehill Maisie collided soon after the start. Binalong Sands and Storm Allen collided approaching the first turn checking Binalong Sands, Rozehill Maisie and Black Tilly. Black Tilly, Rozehill Maisie and Binalong Sands collided on the first turn checking Binalong Sands and Talented Miss. Black Tilly checked off Storm Allen entering the home straight. Rozehill Maisie and Storm Allen collided approaching the winning post. 

A sample was taken from Jingellic - the winner of the event. 

On Flyer was a late scratching at 4:03PM due to injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary ceetificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Brooklyn Cruiser, Midori Halo and Dewana Angel were slow to begin. Cincinnati Lee crossed to the rail on the first turn. Jet Mikado and Wicked Wendy collided approaching the home turn. Dewana Angel crossed to the outside entering the home straight severely checking Jet Mikado.

Jet Mikado was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle muscle , a 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Belle Burst was quick to begin. Flying Alf, Black Chase and Segatashya were slow to begin. Jagman and Pure Glory collided approaching the first turn checking Jagman. Black Chase checked off Segatashya on the first turn. Flying Alf and Where's Milly collided on the first turn checking Where's Milly and severely checking All Mighty One. 

Pure Glory was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

A sample was taken from Flying Alf - the winner of the event. 

This race was delayed by approximately 8 minutes due to a problem with the lure cable.

Finny was slow to begin. Finny and McThumpa collided soon after the start. Just Wins and Lefty Burner collided approaching the first turn checking Lefty Burner. Magneto Bale, Scunitza Speed and Sisco Fiasco collided approaching the first turn checking Scunitza Speed. Just Wins checked off Sisco Fiasco on the first turn severely checking Scunitza Speed. McThumpa galloped on Don't Crumble on the first turn checking McThumpa and severely checking Don't Crumble which stumbled as a result. Finny and Scunitza Speed collided in the home straight. 

Don't Crumble was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left shoulder, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  

Prior to the running of this event Stewards spoke to the lure driver Mr M.Bickerdike, who stated that he believed he was able to drive the lure safely from the middle of the track. Following the running of the event, Stewards were concerned with the positioning of the lure in the home straight. After viewing the race footage and from their own observations, acting in accordance with GAR 55 Stewards declared the event a no race.  

MEETING COMMENTS:

Meeting was abondoned at 8:30PM due to heavy fog creating poor visibility.
