Inara was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right tricep and soreness in the left triangle. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

Hunter's Hope was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right foot 4th toe fracture. A stand down period of 28 days was imposed.

Rock The Casbolt, Lytton Lass, Platinum Express and Crusher Dust collided soon after the start checking Platinum Express and Crusher Dust. Stewards spoke to Mrs.L. Harrowfield, the handler of the greyhound Billy Beergarden.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Billy Beergarden with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment and suspended the greyhound for 28 days Bendigo and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from  Bally Abbie a post race sample was subsequently taken.

MEETING COMMENTS: 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Poppins trialled over the 425m from box 7 weight 32.0kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 24.35, the greyhound won by a margin of 2 lengths. Poppins was cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Tommy Reg trialled over the 425m from box 1, weight 27.3kg, the greyhound was placed 5th in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 24:35, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 10 lengths. Tommy Reg was cleared.
