Steward's Report
The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Senorita Milne and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 2.52pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer K Lingard was fined the sum of $100.
Hunter's Hope was slow to begin. Semjase and Lioness Lulu collided soon after the start. Hunter's Hope and Inara collided soon after the start checking Inara. Kid Famechon, Moroccan Train and Vizzari collided on the first turn checking Moroccan Train. Semjase, Hunter's Hope and Moroccan Train collided entering the back straight checking Semjase which collided with Inara and checked Inara. Kid Famechon and Hunter's Hope collided approaching the home turn checking Hunter's Hope. Hunter's Hope galloped on the heels of Kid Famechon checking Kid Famechon. Vizzari and Hunter's Hope collided approaching the home turn checking Hunter's Hope. Moroccan Train, Vizzari and Semjase raced wide in the home straight.
Inara was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right tricep and soreness in the left triangle. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.
Hunter's Hope was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right foot 4th toe fracture. A stand down period of 28 days was imposed.
