Raptis was vetted during kenneling and passed fit to race. Trainer Mr. Kevin Chivell was reminded of his responsibilities to ensure that the greyhound is properly restrained after the greyhound became loose prior to kenneling.

Maddi's Wishes and El Huracan were slow to begin. Dancing Madi, Dyna Brainiac and El Huracan collided soon after the start checking El Huracan. Maddi's Wishes and El Huracan collided approaching the first turn. Raptis checked off Dancing Madi on the home turn. Raptis and El Huracan collided approaching the winning post.

Bush Matey was slow to begin. Arolok Molly, Cudgee Creek and Meadow View collided soon after the start. Fauna Allen and Dyna Wedi collided soon after the start. Arolok Molly checked off Meadow View approaching the first turn checking Cudgee Creek, Fauna Allen and Dyna Wedi. Arolok Molly, Cudgee Creek and Fauna Allen collided on the first turn. Arolok Molly and Bush Matey collided approaching the home turn. Cudgee Creek raced wide approaching the home turn. Grand Ocean and Mischief Maker collided in the home straight.

Cudgee Creek was vetted and after being re-vetted following event four, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left hip and left fan muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr.G.Hunt, the trainer of Cudgee Creek regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.

Vintage Grange was a late scratching at 6:17pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to illness. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Thomeli Bec was quick to begin.  Estrela Escura was slow to begin. Danny Brook and Volatile Bale collided soon after the start. Volatile Bale checked off Raniah Reason on the first turn. Bryvon checked off Thomeli Bec on the first turn. Zeppelin Bale and Bryvon collided approaching the home turn checking Zeppelin Bale and severely checking Volatile Bale, Bryvon and Raniah Reason. Volatile Bale and Bryvon collided on the home turn checking Volatile Bale, Bryvon and Raniah Reason.

Brian Fish, handler of Occupation Lad  redeclared a new weight of 35.0kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Occupation Lad last raced at 33.2kg.

Next Grange was slow to begin. Occupation Lad crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Dyna Norfolk, Allen Forge, Flying Do Do, Singed Follicles and Libstar. Singed Follicles and Occupation Lad collided approaching the first turn. Flying Do Do, Dynamic Dash and Allen Forge collided approaching the first turn checking Flying Do Do. Libstar raced wide in the home straight.

Dynamic Dash was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right pencil muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Pursuant to GAR 104 (7) steward Mr.G.Fish did not act in any official capacity for this event.

A pre race sample was taken from Knocka Less.

Knocka Less crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Knocka Less, Pocket Of Dreams, Arolok Dora and King Enright. Knocka Less checked off Volcanic Rock approaching the first turn checking Arolok Dora. King Enright and Miss Miyake collided approaching the first turn. Arolok Dora checked off Knocka Less on the first turn. Retro checked off Volcanic Rock on the first turn checking Knocka Less which fell as a result. Pocket Of Dreams, Miss Miyake and Mad Boy Max collided approaching the home turn.

Knocka Less was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

He Went Off, Reverend Matchy and Starbright collided soon after the start. Starbright and Spyware collided soon after the start checking Starbright. He Went Off, Reverend Matchy and Garjohn collided approaching the first turn. Crackerjack Dad and Honey Blossom collided approaching the first turn. Reverend Matchy and Garjohn collided on the home turn. Reverend Matchy and Starbright collided approaching the winning post.

Cambridge Prince was a late scratching at 1:35pm due to illness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Horsham Myth was quick to begin. Geisha Angel was slow to begin. Twentyfour Steps and Aristotle Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Twentyfour Steps. Arolok Jane and Mr. Nice Guy collided approaching the first turn and again in the home straight.

Black Cadel, Osteria Mozza, Gervon and Layton Boss collided soon after the start. Gervon and Riverside Billie collided approaching the first turn. Black Cadel checked off Osteria Mozza on the first turn. Black Cadel, Gervon, Riverside Billie and Shiraz Reef collided on the first turn checking Black Cadel and Layton Boss and severely checking Gervon, Riverside Billie and Shiraz Reef, Shiraz Reef stumbled and tailed off as a result.

Shiraz Reef was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both back muscles and the right pencil muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Little Caviar was quick to begin. Just A Grin, Old Jock and Mercurial Pedro collided soon after the start checking Just A Grin. Quantum Bale, Ben Wigan and Dawn Waker collided approaching the first turn checking Ben Wigan. Mercurial Pedro and Old Jock collided on the first turn checking Old Jock. Ben Wigan checked off Little Caviar approaching the home turn. Ben Wigan, Dawn Waker and Mercurial Pedro collided entering the home straight checking all three greyhounds. Just A Grin checked off Dawn Waker in the home straight checking Old Jock.

Sniffer Grange, Cudgee's Jasper, Hetalia Bale and Casarito were slow to begin. Ottantotto and Rumbalara Girl collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Ottantotto, Rumbalara Girl, Remonstrate and Hetalia Bale collided on the first turn checking Sniffer Grange, Cudgee's Jasper, Ottantotto, Rumbalara Girl, Hetalia Bale and Casarito. Cudgee's Jasper checked off Casarito approaching the home turn checking Sniffer Grange. Ottantotto and Hetalia Bale collided approaching the home turn. Ottantotto and Rumbalara Girl collided entering the home straight.

Kalden Crixus was slow to begin. Irenena Boy, Bad Boy Bobby and Rusty Peg collided soon after the start. Out This Way, Irenena Boy and Bad Boy Bobby collided approaching the first turn. Out This Way checked off Kalden Crixus on the first turn checking Irenena Boy, Bad Boy Bobby, Get Me and Kalden Crixus, Kalden Crixus stumbled as a result. Irenena Boy checked off Get Me approaching the home turn checking Bad Boy Bobby and causing Irenena Boy to contact the running rail and causing  it's rug to become partially dislodged, causing the greyhound to be inconvenienced for the remainder of the event. Out This Way raced wide in the home straight. Get Me and Kalden Crixus collided in the home straight.

Irenena Boy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left triangle muscle, a  7 day stand down period was imposed.
