Ava's Journey, Radiant Betty and Deltora Quest were slow to begin. Ava's Journey, Chuck Attack, Deltora Quest and Mountain Stew collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds. Ria and Radiant Betty collided approaching the winning post checking Ria.
