A pre-race sample was taken from Illegal Way.
All Inn Pearl was slow to begin. Illegal Way, Hasten Jet, All Inn Pearl and Shania's Dream collided on the first turn severely checking All Inn Pearl and Shania's Dream.
Global Beauty underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer's request and was found to have a dislocated toe on the left fore paw. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Shania's Dream underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
