All persons attending today undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, checked in, observed social distance requirements and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 25.1 degrees and the kennel temperature was 17.4 degrees. The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy.

Brightly Staring, All Inn Ryder, Chandler and Elite Patty were slow to begin. Exit Speed, Buck Knife, Hatchet Harry and Chandler collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds. Global Fix and Jagger's Lady collided several times on the home turn and entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Avery Charm was a late scratching at 11:47am (under GAR 20 (4) (b)) as Trainer Mr. Joe Uglietta was unwilling to meet the conditions of entry to the venue today. Acting under the provisions of GAR 20 (3) (n), Mr Uglietta was excluded from the venue for the day.

Stewards spoke to representative, Mr David Pryse regarding the racing manners of Rattling Rosie in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Mr Pryse, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.

All Inn Pearl was slow to begin. Illegal Way, Hasten Jet, All Inn Pearl and Shania's Dream collided on the first turn severely checking All Inn Pearl and Shania's Dream.

Global Beauty underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer's request and was found to have a dislocated toe on the left fore paw. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Shania's Dream underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
