A pre-race sample was taken from Jack’s Cracker.
Nangar Ellie was quick to begin. Crowdza Blest was checked off Jack’s Cracker approaching the first turn. Jack’s Cracker and Cryptic Vixen collided on the first turn. Luna Cruz and Madam Chelsea collided on the second turn. Raptor and Nangar Ellie collided on the second turn. Crowdza Blest was checked off Nangar Ellie in the back straight. Cryptic Vixen and Crowdza Blest collided approaching the home turn. Luna Cruz and Madam Chelsea collided entering the home straight.
Jack‘s Cracker underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right deltoid muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. David Kerr regarding the racing manners of Jack‘s A Cracker on the third turn. After hearing evidence from Mr. Kerr, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the third turn.
