Crackerjack Dean checked off Plagiarise soon after the start. Valencia Bale and Zambora Flame collided on the first turn severely checking Valencia Bale.

Ah My Leg – Late scratching at 1:58pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Mathew Wright  was fined $100.
