Steward's Report
Sudoku Cobra – Late scratching at 8.28 am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr. P. Mathieson was fined $100.
Lala Grapefruit was quick to begin. Flying Sonic went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (3 lengths).
Regal Missile faultered approching the first turn and was tailed off as a result. Rodeo Ethics checked off Lala Grapefruit in the home straight and collided with Gutter Stomper, checking Gutter Stomper. Gutter Stomper and Rodeo Ethics collided approaching the winning post.
Regal Missile underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Rodeo Ethics - the winner of the event.
