Open Hearted was quick to begin.

Open Hearted and Mechanical collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Open Hearted lost ground approaching the first turn and subsequently tailed off.  Mechanical and Piper's My Girl collided on the home turn.

Open Hearted underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following Race 6. No apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr. Thomas Boehmke, the trainer of Open Hearted regarding its performance throughout this event.  Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory; acting in accordance with GAR 71, Open Hearted must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Don't Try Me was quick to begin.

Blackpool Cheeky, Tinker Yap and Straight Shooter collided soon after the start.  Hamish Bale and Slingshot Puzzle collided on the first turn checking Hamish Bale, Slingshot Puzzle and Blackpool Cheeky.  Slingshot Puzzle galloped on Blackpool Cheeky on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Tinker Yap and Straight Shooter collided on the first turn.  Tinker Yap raced wide in the home straight.

Faint Perfume and Little Beamer were quick to begin.

Zipping Crusader and Hachey Boy collided approaching the first turn.  Faint Perfume and Little Beamer collided on the first turn checking Little Beamer.  Altercate crossed in on the first turn checking Faint Perfume and Aston Amber.  Faint Perfume and Aston Amber collided on the home turn.

Miss Molly May went up with the lids at boxrise and was slow to begin.

Stella's Memory and Neesa Giblet collided approaching the first turn.  Miss Molly May and Ice Cream Lady collided in the home straight.

Foxtrot Tango – New declared weight of 33.7 kg, last raced at 34.9 kg.

Tiggerlong Car was quick to begin.

Foxtrot Tango and Exford Norm collided approaching the first turn and again approaching the winning post.

Exford Norm underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer's request and was found to have a small laceration to the nose.  No stand down period was imposed.

Olivia Twist and Nagambie Bale were slow to begin.

Branson Bale and Al's Son collided approaching the first turn.  Branson Bale checked off Orson Ruby on the first turn.  Al's Son crossed out entering the home straight and checked off Orson Ruby and Branson Bale.  Orson Ruby and Branson Bale collided in the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Branson Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left foreleg.   No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms. Chloe Dew regarding the racing manners of Branson Bale in this event.  After hearing evidence from Ms. Dew, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.

A post-race sample was taken from Bondy Bear - the winner of the event.

Zander was quick to begin.

Vortex checked off Aston Bomber approaching the first turn.  Magic Mark checked off Zander on the first turn.  Magic Mark crossed out entering the home straight and collided with Why Not Rose checking Why Not Rose and Zipping Norman.

Grey Not Blue – New declared weight of 30.6 kg, last raced at 32.2 kg.

Why Not Hutch was quick to begin.  Crackerjack Dirt was slow to begin.

Balts Obsession and Miss Angel Di collided soon after the start.  Joyous Moment and Just Gab collided on the first turn.  Duck Duck Dash and Balts Obsession collided on the first turn.  Joyous Moment crossed out on the home turn and checked off Just Gab.

Why Not Kez was quick to begin.

Floppy Roo galloped on Nyssa's Girl on the first turn causing Floppy Roo to collide with Why Not Gigi.  Saint Jett and Wild Harmony collided on the first turn.  Impatient Arty and Why Not Gigi collided on the home turn.  Wild Harmony crossed out on the home turn checking Floppy Roo and Why Not Gigi.
