A pre-race sample was taken from Sensational.
Regal Missile and Sensational collided soon after the start checking Sensational. Why Delila, Urana Fernando, Dasha Tullamore and Slingshot Trojan collided approaching the first turn checking all four greyhounds. Caps Lock On checked off Kaiden on the first turn and collided with Regal Missile and Why Delila. Slingshot Trojan galloped on the heels of Sensational approaching the home turn severely checking both greyhounds. Why Delila and Dasha Tullamore collided on the home turn checking Why Delila. Kaiden and Regal Missile collided in the home straight checking Kaiden.
Sensational underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on the left tarsal. No stand down period was imposed.
