Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Ridge was quick to begin.  Saint Bluey was slow to begin.

Crossfire and Saint Bluey collided soon after the start.  Broadway Benny, Back Net, Crossfire, My Buddy Benny and Dr. Macie collided on the first turn checking Broadway Benny, Back Net, severely checking My Buddy Benny and Dr. Macie.

My Buddy Benny underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left front leg and a right monkey muscle injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

An out of competition sample was taken from Rear View Mirror on 22 September 2021 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Persian Goddess and Envy To Burn were quick to begin.

Hugo and Aston Resort collided soon after the start.  Weblec Thunder and Rear View Mirror collided soon after the start.  Hugo, Aston Resort, Weblec Thunder and Rear View Mirror collided approaching the first turn causing Aston Resort to fall.  Hugo and Weblec Thunder collided on the first turn.  Mahomes and Hugo collided on the first turn and  again on the second turn checking Hugo.

Aston Resort underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left front leg.  A 7 day stand down period was impodsed.

A post-race sample was taken from Persian Goddess - winner of the event.

Gintoki Bale – Late scratching at 2.16pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a left front foot spike wound.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Vayda Bale was quick to begin.  Zipping Vernon, Russian Sub, Ivy Isobel and Nihari Bale were slow to begin.

Ivy Isobel and Nihari Bale collided approaching the first turn.  Whistling Bullet and Aston Harlow collided on the second turn.  Zipping Vernon and Nihari Bale collided approaching the third turn.  Zipping Vernon and Ivy Isobel collided entering the home straight.

Mepunga Ruby and Gypsy Wyong collided soon after the start checking Gypsy Wyong.  Knicks Bale, Mepunga Ruby and It's My Party collided on the first turn checking Mepunga Ruby and Gypsy Wyong.  It's My Party checked off Knicks Bale on the home turn.  

Lots Of Chatter, Lakeview Cruiser and Xavien Bale were quick to begin.

Gypsy Bun, Going Alright and Lakeview Cruiser collided soon after the start checking Going Alright.  Time For Peace and Junk Food Junkie collided on the first turn and again on the second turn checking both greyhounds.  

Bravery, Empress Tears and Five Star were quick to begin.  Rock On Jimmy, Suntory Rose and Kenny The Brute were slow to begin.

Kenny The Brute and Suntory Rose collided approaching the first turn.  Tomato Tears and Rock On Jimmy collided approaching the first turn checking Rock On Jimmy.  Rock On Jimmy and Kenny The Brute collided on the second turn.  Rock On Jimmy and Kenny The Brute collided in the front straight checking Rock On Jimmy.  Tomato Tears checked off Suntory Rose approaching the fourth turn.  Suntory Rose marred Bravery on the home turn.  Empress Tears and Bravery collided in the home straight.

Suntory Rose underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right shoulder injury.  No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Harrison Goss, the Kennel Representative, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1), Suntory Rose was charged with marring.  Mr. Goss pleaded not guilty to the charge, Suntory Rose was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Abelero Bale and Untapped collided soon after the start checking Untapped.  Soda Fizz checked off Mirror Illusion soon after the start.  Abelero Bale checked off Merlot approaching the first turn.  Merlot and Mirror Illusion collided approaching the first turn checking Merlot.  Untapped galloped on Sir Champ on the first turn checking Sir Champ.  Mirror Illusion and Plan Ahead collided entering the front straight checking Mirror Illusion. Abelero Bale and Untapped collided on the fourth turn checking Abelero Bale. Merlot and Soda Fizz collided approaching the home turn.

Jax Bale, Lakeview Walter and Denise's Vision collided in the front straight.  Super Marli checked off Providence Bale approaching the first turn.  Fernando Mick and Denise's Vision collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Providence Bale and Jax Bale collided on the first turn.  Jax Bale and Lakeview Walter collided on the first turn checking Lakeview Walter.  Lakeview Walter checked off Providence Bale on the third turn.  Super Marli checked off Lakeview Walter approaching the home turn.  Fernando Mick and Jax Bale raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Nenna Tears and Gosh collided soon after the start, approaching the first turn and on the first turn. Trending Rookie and Gosh collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Rahim Bale faltered on the second turn and lost ground.  Jezza Bance and Ripplebrook Rory collided in the back straight.  Gosh checked off Trending Rookie in the back straight.

Rahim Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right hock fracture.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Broady Lights and Time To Roll were quick to begin.  Vardan Bale was slow to begin.

Instruction and Spring Bolt collided soon after the start checking Spring Bolt and Kanji Height.  Kanji Height and Thylacine collided on the first turn.  Broady Lights and Time To Roll collided on the second turn checking Broady Lights, Time To Roll and Havilah Kid.  Broady Lights checked off Havilah Lad entering the back straight checking Broady Lights and Kanji Heights.  Time To Roll checked off Havilah Kid on the third turn checking Broady Lights.  

Lakeview Bonnie, Impending and Arlington were quick to begin.  Ollie was slow to begin.

Tiger's Twenty, Aston Matrice and Blue Stingray collided soon after the start.  Boombox Hammer and Blue Stingray collided approaching the first turn.  Impending and Boombox Hammer collided on the first turn checking Impending.
