Out of competition samples were taken from Rosta Power and Run Fast Onesie on 16 September 2021 pursuant to GAR 79A.
A pre-race sample was taken from Edge Serena.
Quick Paws and Aston Solar were quick to begin. Run Fast Onesie was slow to begin.
Smokin' Charlie checked off Quick Paws soon after the start. Shake The World, Rosta Power and Edge Serena collided approaching the first turn. Aston Solar and Run Fast Onesie collided on the first turn. Smokin' Charlie checked off Run Fast Onesie on the first turn checking Edge Serena, subsequently checking Matchbox Queen. Shake The World and Rosta Power collided on the first turn. Shake The World checked off Smokin' Charlie approaching the home turn and raced wide checking Rosta Power.
There was no head on vision available in the home straight.
Stewards spoke to Mr Michael Niele and issued him with a warning regarding his conduct during the sample process of Edge Serena, pursuant to GAR 86(q).
