Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Halo's Drive and Orson Delight were slow to begin. Into The Kitchen was very slow to begin - 3 lengths.

Ruby Dealer and Whistle Bay collided soon after the start. Shore Lanka crossed to the outside at the 250m mark checking Leo Giblet and Ruby Dealer. Halo's Drive crossed to the outside at the 100m mark.

Leo Giblet - Stewards were satisfied with the boxing of the greyhound and removed the boxed first endorsement for future events in accordance with GAR 52.

Loch Terrace was slow to begin.

Mountain Stew and Show Me Heaven collided soon after the start. Mt. View Moon crossed to the outside at the 250m mark.

Jaimandy Gebauer crossed to the outside soon after the start. Jaimandy Gebauer faltered at the 200m mark and pulled up.

Jaimandy Gebauer underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right triangle muscle. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. In accordance with GAR 75 (1), the Stewards requested Mr Paul Donohue to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Jaimandy Gebauer in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event. 

Orson Franky was slow to begin.

Vortex, No Bob Rob and Still Got Time collided approaching the 250m mark. Vortex and Still Got Time collided at the 200m mark. No Bob Rob faltered at the 150m mark and tailed off.

Stewards noted that the muzzle of Orson Franky became dislodged during the running of the event.

No Bob Rob underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right shin soreness and a spike wound to the right front metacarpal. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.In accordance with GAR 75 (1), the Stewards requested Mr Lewis Green to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of No Bob Rob in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event. 

Stewards spoke to handler Ms Kylie Norton regarding her difficulty in boxing Vortex. Stewards issued a warning regarding the greyhound's boxing manners.

A post-race sample was taken from Vortex - the winner of the event.

Cairnlea Winnie - Late scratching at 9.43am on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to an injury to the left pectoral muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Heads Or Tails crossed to the outside soon after the start. Finlaystone and Jax Flash collided at the 200m mark. Finlaystone and Junket Jarrod collided approaching the winning post.

Another Mirage and What's His Caper collided soon after the start. Travelling Sands, Son Of Indy and Western Bomber collided soon after the start. Son Of Indy and Franki Jay collided soon after the start. Another Mirage, What's His Caper and Western Bomber collided approaching the 300m mark. Rogue Temptation crossed to the inside approaching the 300m mark.

Stewards spoke to Mrs Cassandra Rademaker, the representative for Trainer Mr Adam Rademaker, regarding the scratching of Malt And Scotch from this event. Mrs Rademaker stated that Malt And Scotch suffered a pad injury and was subsequently withdrawn yesterday morning (30 September 2021). Mrs Rademaker also stated that the greyhound has been seen by Dr Michael Bell this morning. Stewards noted Mrs Rademakers explanation and no further action was taken. 

Colossal Fire and Whispy Watson were slow to begin.

Whispy Watson crossed to the outside approaching the 300m mark. Three Bears, Star Burner, Magic Mark and Our Ryker collied approaching the 300m mark checking Three Bears and Star Burner. Our Ryker crossed to the inside approaching the 250m mark checking Three Bears. Blackjack Cougar checked off Magic Mark at the 150m mark.

Mr Leon Lacy requested an early race endorsement for How's It Alice. The Stewards approved the request after an examination prior to racing by the on-track veterinarian. How's It Alice will compete in early races until further notice.
