Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Blackpool Bolt.
Ricky Racoon was slow to begin.
Aston Harlow and Rilynn Bale collided soon after the start. Aston Harlow checked off the heels of Byron Bale approaching the first turn and checked Rilynn Bale. Aston Ryker and Hear The Drum collided on the home turn. Crackerjack Suni and Aston Harlow raced wide on the home turn.
Rilynn Bale was disappointing and underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revaled no apparent injury; was then re-vetted after Race 9 and was found to have a left triangle muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr S Coulson, the handler of Rilynn Bale regarding the performance. In accordance with GAR 75 (1), the Stewards requested connections to report as soon as practicable anything other that may have affected the running of Rilynn Bale in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
A post-race sample was taken from Rilynn Bale - unplaced in the event.
Supplementary Report: Under GAR 75, Trainer Mr Mark Delbridge advised that Rilynn Bale had an injured fibula.
