Pure Claire underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Zambora Flame and Cormac Mclaggen were slow to begin.

Aston Bomber and Seabrook Dawn collided soon after the start. Aston Bomber, Seabrook Dawn and Zambora Flame collided approaching the first turn, checking all three greyhounds. Seabrook Dawn, Old Mate Paddy  and Aston Burton raced wide on the home turn.

King Chad, Christmas Magic and Black Martini collided soon after the start, checking all three greyhounds. Coco To Burn, Black Martini and Orson Avery collided approaching the first turn. King Chad and Black Martini collided on the home turn. Coco To Burn raced wide on the home turn. 

Mr.Brian Hodgson was issued a warning for failing to ensure the registration card was produced on presentation for Slingshot Trojan. Mr. Hodgson did present the registration card prior to the close of kennelling, as required too under GAR 33.

Blackpool Cruz and Above The Limit collided soon after the start. Al's Full House and Rahim Bale collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Flying Conic and Blackpool Cruz collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Flying Sonic brushed the running rail on the first turn and lost ground. Above The Limit raced wide on the home turn. Jye's Jet and Al's Full House collided several times in the home straight.

Mick's Kimmy was slow to begin.

Ernie Prang checked of the heels of Crymelon Comet on the first turn. Eleora Bale, Crymelon Comet and Ernie Prang collided on the second turn. Ernie Prang raced wide on the home turn. Friesian Flyer checked off the heels of Eleora Bale in the home straight.

Ricky Racoon was slow to begin.

Aston Harlow and Rilynn Bale collided soon after the start. Aston Harlow checked off the heels of Byron Bale approaching the first turn and checked Rilynn Bale. Aston Ryker and Hear The Drum collided on the home turn. Crackerjack Suni and Aston Harlow raced wide on the home turn. 

Rilynn Bale was disappointing and underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revaled no apparent injury; was then re-vetted after Race 9 and was found to have a left triangle muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr S Coulson, the handler of Rilynn Bale regarding the performance. In accordance with GAR 75 (1), the Stewards requested connections to report as soon as practicable anything other that may have affected the running of Rilynn Bale in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event. 

A post-race sample was taken from Rilynn Bale - unplaced in the event.

Supplementary Report: Under GAR 75, Trainer Mr Mark Delbridge advised that Rilynn Bale had an injured fibula.

Padrino Rocks was slow to begin.

Blow Me Kisses and Magnis Bale collided soon after the start. Esmay and Blow Me Kisses collided in the home straight. Magnis Blae and Snapper Smith collided in the home straight.

Cornish Pixie and El Cazador were slow to begin.

Ollie checked off the heels of Bees And Honey on the first turn. El Cazador galloped on the heels of Redzin in the back straight. Major Giblet and Enchanting raced wide on the home turn.

Mahogany Jet was slow to begin.

Banjo Bert, King Kaboom, Aston Minerva and Slingshot Reaper collided on the first turn, causing Aston Minerva to fall and checking Mahogany Jet, Blazing Nenna and Papi Go Fast. Blazing Nenna checked of the heels of King Kaboom and then checked Mahogany Jet approaching the home turn. 

Aston Minerva underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have Left Scapula fracture.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr. Greg Doyle was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for Deedee's Charm, pursuant to GAR 33.

Plausible Dream and Kanga Lights were slow to begin.

Tilly Divine checked of the heels of Crackerjack Dev approaching the first turn. Kanga Lights and Tilly Divine collided on the first turn, resulting in Kanga Lights contacting the running rail. Barellen Pearl visibly eased through the first turn. Barellen Pearl and Deedee's Charm collided approaching the home turn.

Kanga Lights underwent a post-race veterinary examination examination and was found to have abrasions left hind leg.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Barellen Pearl underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising and lacerations on the left hind paw, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr Alfred King, the trainer of Barellen Pearl regarding the greyhound’s racing manners through the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A (1) Barellen Pearl was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr King pleaded not guilty to the charge, Barellen Pearl was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted

Lyrical Lad was slow to begin.

Rockstar Ohlmus and Go Wheels collided approaching the first turn. Lyrical Lad, Scenic Warrior, Livia Bale and Chief's Shout collided on the first turn, causing Chief's Shout to fall and checking Livia Bale. Scenic Warrior checked off the heels of Lyrical Lad in the home straight. 

Chief's Shout underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left femur fracture.  Chief's Shout was humanely euthanased.

Tig, Cypress Bale and Fish Tog Giblet collided soon after the start, checking Tig. Have A Roadie raced wide on the home turn.
