Shrek's Thunder and Rasputin were quick to begin. Fly To Victory, How High Austin and Zipping Margo collided approaching the first turn. How High Austin checked off Good Boy Colombo entering the back straight. Shrek's Thunder contacted the running rail entering the home straight.
Shrek's Thunder underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
