Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Parade Steward, Ms. Stacey Evans did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
Cosmetic Rose was quick to begin. Deed Of Shianne was slow to begin.
Mountain Stew and Deed Of Shianne collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Blazer Bradbury and Mayhem Flash collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Mayhem Flash. Mountain Stew and Deed Of Shianne collided on the first turn checking Deed Of Shianne. Blazer Bradbury turned it's head inwards and visibly eased entering the home straight.
Blazer Bradbury underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.
Stewards spoke to Ms. Gayle Lemin, the trainer of Blazer Bradbury regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Blazer Bradbury was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms. Lemin pleaded not guilty to the charge, Blazer Bradbury was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
