Steward's Report
Rocking Roxy was quick to begin. County Tyrone was slow to begin.
Smokin' Blaster (visibly eased and turned its head outwards on two occasions in the home straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a minor strain to the right gracilis muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer, Ms. N. Lund, regarding the racing manners of Smokin' Blaster in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Smokin' Blaster was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms. Lund pleaded guilty to the charge. Smokin' Blaster was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Nailed It - the winner of the event.
