Steward's Report
Pure Mania – Late scratching at 10:09 when Mr. Kenneth Howat phoned stewards and reported the greyhound to have an injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken from Dark Krystal.
Super Sparkle and Got To Spark collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Glory Road checked off Parasite approaching the first turn. Parasite checked off Dark Krystal on the first turn and collided with Glory Road. Got To Spark and Dark Krystal collided on the home turn. Tylden and Chasing Love collided several times in the home straight. Tylden, Chasing Love and Super Sparkle collided approaching the winning post.
Mr. John Mcclelland was issued with a warning under (GAR 86(o)) for negligence after the greyhound, Got To Spark was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. This matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration and remediation.
