Keltic Riddle and Perfect Meg were slow to begin.
Perfect Meg checked off Leg Before soon after the start. Mr Bo Douglas checked off Keltic Riddle approaching the first turn. Modern Silk, Leg Before and Viking Two collided on the first turn checking Viking Two, Perfect Meg, Keltic Riddle and Moonlite Spice and severely checking Leg Before. Mr Bo Douglas, Viking Two and Moonlite Spice collided approaching the home turn.
Leg Before was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left shoulder. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
