Steward's Report
Vapour King was a late scratching at 8:41AM due to injury. (GAR 37). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Mr. Zed was slow to begin.
Lassurge and Sure Thing collided soon after the start. Token Whirl checked off Will He Bolt soon after the start. Token Whirl checked off Elle's Hope on the first turn. Lassurge and Sure Thing collided entering the back straight checking Mr. Zed and Lassurge. Token Whirl raced wide in the home straight.
Token Whirl was vetted following the event and revetted following race 8. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right shoulder and the right thigh. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
