Rinkhale was quick to begin. All The Zeez, Dewana Summer, Azarenka and Honeypot Agogo were slow to begin.
Dewana Summer and Azarenka collided soon after the start. All The Zeez, Dewana Summer and Azarenka collided approaching the first turn. Dewana Summer and Azarenka collided on the first turn checking Dewana Summer. Dewana Summer and All The Zeez collided approaching the second turn severely checking Dewana Summer which stumbled as a result. Five AM Riser, Rinkhale and Honeypot Agogo collided on the second turn checking Rinkhale. Rinkhale checked off Azarenka approaching the home turn.
Dewana Summer was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triceps. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
