Mrs. M. Mallia-Magri was fined the sum of $100 for her failure to produce the registration papers for the greyhounds Destini Warrior and Starfire Magic pursuant to GAR 33.
Easton Bale was quick to begin.
Destini Warrior and Starfire Magic collided soon after the start. Derby Ghost, Claretown Westy, Star Rashad and Whodat Lass collided soon after the start checking Claretown Westy. Derby Ghost, Star Rashad and Ocky Thyme collided on the first turn checking Claretown Westy and severely checking Derby Ghost, Star Rashad and Ocky Thyme. Claretown Westy raced wide on the home turn and again entering the home straight.
Star Rashad was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both pencil muscles and the right triceps. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Ocky Thyme was vetted following the event. It was reported that he greyhound sustained injuries to the right triceps, right foreleg and abrasions to the left chest muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
