Ate Octane crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Exford Sue, Miss Drysdale and Metamorphis. Ate Octane and Go Go Gracie collided approaching the first turn checking Ate Octane. Metamorphis checked off Exford Sue on the first turn checking Go Go Gracie. Ate Octane galloped on the heels of Miss Drysdale on the first turn. Miss Drysdale and Go Go Gracie collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight checking Go Go Gracie. Jay King raced wide in the home straight. Nurse Akali crossed to the rail in the home straight.
