Blitzem Miss and Red Bomber were quick to begin. To Dee Black was slow to begin. Remo Coffee, Arvo's Joy and Toy Princess collided soon after the start checking Arvo's Joy. Turanza Magic and Remo Coffee collided approaching the first turn checking Remo Coffee. To Dee Black and Southern Tip collided on the first turn severely checking To Dee Black. Blitzem Miss checked off Southern Tip approaching the home turn. To Dee Black checked off Remo Coffee approaching the home turn. Red Bomber and Toy Princess collided in the home straight. Red Bomber checked off Toy Princess in the home straight. Turanza Magic and Red Bomber collided approaching the winning post.
Blitzem Miss was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the left and right quadriceps. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
