Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Optimiste.
Husta Husta, Optimiste, Franchina and Charlie Image were slow to begin.
Cool Coyote and Monstrosity collided approaching the first turn checking Cool Coyote which stumbled and checked Husta Husta as a result, Cool Coyote tailed off. Franchina crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Baffle Plate, Charlie Image and Monstrosity. Charlie Image and Monstrosity collided approaching the home turn. Husta Husta and Franchina collided several times in the home straight.
Cool Coyote was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a dropped right thigh muscle. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
