Veetee Senor, Kraken Soupy and Dinosoul collided approaching the first turn checking Kraken Soupy and Weekend Gangster. Noaki Buckley, Night Fighter, Dinosoul, Live Wire, Veetee Senor and Kraken Soupy collided on the first turn checking Night Fighter, Kraken Soupy and Veetee Senor and severely checking Live Wire and Dinosoul, both fell as a result. Night Fighter and Kraken Soupy collided approaching the home turn checking Night Fighter. Nght Fighter checked off Kraken Soupy in the home straight.
Dinosoul was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right radius and was humanely euthanised.
Live Wire was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left monkey muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
