Stewards spoke to M Clark, the trainer of the greyhound Deveraux.  Deveraux was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds and slight swelling on the left hock, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Deveraux with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomiantion will be accepted. 

Cosmic White and Highfield Silk were slow to begin.  Dr. Victoria Pea was very slow to begin (3 lengths) and stumbled soon after the start, losing ground as a result.  Kristerin and Ice Cold Bundy collided soon after the start, and again approaching the home turn.  Cosmic White and Highfield Silk collided on the home turn.  Ice Cold Bundy checked off Kristerin in the home straight.  Kristerin checked off Rainbow Rebel in the home straight.

Dr. Victoria Pea was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a slight strain to the right triceps, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Ricochet Jessy was slow to begin.  Darcy's Entity, Burst A Move, Rozehill Joan and Dime collided soon after the start.  Taminick Girl, Burst A Move and Rozehill Joan collided on the first turn, severely checking Taminick Girl which checked Ricochet Jessy as a result.

Shady Oasis, Lite Beam and Dynamic Groover were slow to begin.  Lite Beam and Dynamic Groover collided soon after the start.  Flight Master checked off Lovely Lizzie on the first turn.  Lovely Lizzie checked off Zoltar approaching the home turn, checking Shady Oasis, Flight Master and Lite Beam.  Flight Master and Lite Beam collided approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds.
