Mickey Blue Eyes and Endless Ability collided on the first turn.  Mickey Blue Eyes raced wide on the home turn, checking Endless Ability, Bobby Bull Shark and Mepunga Legend.  Mickey Blue Eyes and Bobby Bull Shark collided in the home straight.  

Mickey Blue Eyes underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg deltoid injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Presutto regarding the racing manners of Mickey Blue Eyes on the home turn.  After hearing evidence from Mr. P. Presutto, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn. In arriving at this decision, stewards took into account the injury sustained to Mickey Blue Eyes and also the interference with Endless Ability on the home turn which, in the opinion of the stewards, may have contributed to Mickey Blue Eyes being turned outwards.

Flame Child and Adele's Entity were quick to begin.  Saint Bogan was slow to begin. 

Spencer Giblet and Saint Bogan collided on the first turn.  Spencer Giblet raced wide on the home turn. 

Swift Ability was quick to begin.  Call Me Ace and Major Bandit were slow to begin. 

Press On and Lady Of Leisure collided on the first turn.  Press On checked off Call Me Beau approaching the home turn, checking Call Me Ace. 

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Granny Said Go with Mr A. Harding and noted his comments.

Granny Said Go was quick to begin.  Kinloch Creek was slow to begin.  

Call me Buddy, War Of Words, Call Me Molly and Persuasive collided soon after the start, checking Call Me Molly.  Granny Said Go, War Of Words and Persuasive collided on the first turn, checking Call Me Buddy.  Kinloch Geek, Granny Said Go and Call Me Buddy collided on the home turn, checking all three greyhounds.  Persuasive and War Of Words collided in the home straight.

Separatist, Oscar Octopus, and Ivory Boy were slow to begin.  

Silver Ability and Slingshot Trojan collided soon after the start, checking both greyhounds.  Silver Ability and Slingshot Trojan collided several times approaching the first turn.  Silver Ability galloped on the heels of Slingshot Trojan approaching the home turn, checking Slingshot Trojan and severely checking Silver Ability.  Ivory Boy raced wide approaching the home turn.  Oscar Octopus and Slingshot Trojan collided on the home turn, checking Oscar Octopus, Slingshot Trojan, Separatist and Moe Giblet.  Silver Ability raced wide in the home straight. 

Prabaker was quick toi begin.  

Twisted Bliss and Gleaming collided approaching the first turn. Fire Witch and Night Jar collided on the first turn, checking Night Jar.  Fire Witch and Night Jar collided in the home straight.  Fire Witch turned its head outwards approaching the winning post and collided with Night Jar.

Fire Witch underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg quadriceps injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to the trainer, Mr W. Donlon regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Fire Witch was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr W. Donlon pleaded guilty to the charge, Fire Witch was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
