A pre-race sample was taken from Soda Extreme.
Sailor's Girl was quick to begin. Jebediah was slow to begin.
Maximum Shirley underwent a post-race veterinary examination after being checked on the first turn and losing ground to trail the field. No apparent injuries were found. Stewards questioned representitive Mr. Jorden Cooper regarding the greyhounds performance. Mr Cooper advised stewards he was positive with the greyhound's ability, however expected the step up in class tonight to be a challenge. Mr. Cooper added that he did not support the greyhound. Stewards noted Mr. Cooper's comments.
