Bingo Ringo - slow to begin.
Kutcher's Ruslie - post-race urine and blood samples were taken (winner - new track record of 24.390 seconds). At the completion of the event, it was noted that the incorrect winning time was displayed on the semaphore board following a malfunction to the automatic timing equipment. The correct winning time was corrected to 24.960.
How High Austin - underwent a post-race veterinary examination due to a collision entering the home straight and was found to have a left foreleg carpal sprain injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Due to a malfunction with the timing equipment, the initial time that appeared on the semaphore board immediately after this event was incorrect. As a result, this event was hand-timed and no split times were available.
There was no head-on vision available in the back straight for this event.
