Divine Calling – New declared weight of 28.7kg, last raced at 27.5kg.

Stump Rump was slow to begin.

Stump Rump marred Destiny Rocks at the 200 metre mark. Destiny Rocks visibly eased and pulled up at the 50 metre mark. 

Stump Rump underwent a post-race veterinary examination- no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Ms Paula Boots , the handler of Stump Rump regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at the 150 meter mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Stump Rump was charged with marring. Ms Boots pleaded guilty to the charge Stump Rump was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Destiny Rocks underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to havea left calf injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Thomas Currie regarding the greyhounds racing manners at the 50 metre mark.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1),Destiny Rocks was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Currie pleaded guilty to the charge, Destiny Rocks was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
