A pre-race sample was taken from Master Molloy.
Miss Molly May went up with the lids at box rise and lost ground. So Sudden, Nana Jann, Stormy Lights, Mo City and Master Molloy collided soon after the start checking So Sudden, Stormy Lights and Mo City. So Sudden and Miss Molly May collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Molly May which contacted the running rail. So Sudden galloped on the heels of Nana Jann on the first turn causing Nana Jann to fall checking Stormy Lights. Miss Molly May and Stormy Lights collided approaching the home turn.
Miss Molly May underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Nana Jann underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured right hock. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
