All persons attending today wore facemasks when required, checked in, observed social distance requirements, and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

Tinker Murphy and Sweet As Candy were quick to begin. Riverdale Peggy was slow to begin.

Sweet As Candy and Patchy Walloper collided soon after the start. Storm Raptor and Zaida Bale collided soon after the start. Mr. Bean and Pouncing Penny collided soon after the start. Tinker Murphy and Patchy Walloper collided on the first turn checking Tinker Murphy and Storm Raptor. Zaida Bale and Mr. bean collided on the home turn. Patchy Walloper galloped on the heels of Sweet As Candy in the home straight. Zaida Bale and Mr. Bean raced wide in the home straight and collided approaching the winning post. Storm Raptor checked off Patchy Walloper approaching the winning post. 

Zaida Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Ms B. Robertson-Leech regarding the racing manners of Zaida Bale on the home turn and in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Ms Robertson-Leech, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. 

A post-race sample was taken from Patchy Walloper - the winner of the event.

Devilish John - Late scratching at 1.34pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to dehydration  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr. Fitty and Speedy Cashew was slow to begin.

Mumbo Magic, Xanthi Bale and Kiwi Turtle collided soon after the start checking Xanthi Bale. Mumbo Magic and Kiwi Turtle collided approaching the first turn checking Mumbo Magic, Speedy Cashew, Kiwi Turtle and Mr. Fitty. Speedy Cashew, Kiwi Turtle and Mr Fitty collided approaching the home turn.

Faint Perfume was quick to begin. Starlight Nelly was slow to begin.

Seebohm Bale and Redleg Bull Ant collided soon after the start. Who Told Mel and Small Cakes collided soon after the start. Seebohm Bale and Redleg Bull Ant collided approaching the first turn. Stewards spoke to Mr Craig Burns regarding Tinker Pat failing to run past the return gate.  After hearing evidence from Mr Craig Burns, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound failing to pass the return gate.

Miss Molly May went up with the lids at box rise and lost ground. So Sudden, Nana Jann, Stormy Lights, Mo City and Master Molloy collided soon after the start checking So Sudden, Stormy Lights and Mo City. So Sudden and Miss Molly May collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Molly May which contacted the running rail. So Sudden galloped on the heels of Nana Jann on the first turn causing Nana Jann to fall checking Stormy Lights. Miss Molly May and Stormy Lights collided approaching the home turn.

Miss Molly May underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Nana Jann underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured right hock. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Easy Street, Arch See All and Rainbow City were quick to begin.

Story Unfolds, Pandorica, Crackerjack Dean and Jedi Jack collided soon after the start checking all four greyhounds. Arch See All checked off Easy Street approaching the first turn. Arch See All and Speedy Muffin collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.

Premier Slice and Who Is Arandt were slow to begin.

Halo Lad and Saint Jett collided approaching the first turn checking Saint Jett. Saint Jett and Premier Slice collided on the first turn checking Saint Jett. Halo Lad, Joey Mac and Pacific Express collided on the first turn checking Halo Lad and Joey Mac. Premier Slice and Joey Mac collided approaching the winning post.

Money Is Time and Go Patch Go was quick to begin. Riverdale Poppy was slow to begin.

Mr Martyn Empson was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound, Dundee Zircon pursuant to GAR 33.

Too Be Sure galloped on the heels of Razor Roy approaching the first turn. Razor Roy and Phoenix Flight collided on the first turn. Too Be Sure and Razor Roy collided on the first turn checking Razor Roy.

The start of this event was delayed approximately 2 minutes due to Albion Park harness race 9 running behind schedule.

Queen Sal, Winlock At Large and Lonely Jenny were quick to begin. Carajillo was slow to begin.

Lonely Jenny, Blue Entourage, Acacia Dream and Carajillo collided approaching the first turn checking Lonely Jenny, Blue Entourage and Acacia Dream. Winlock At Large galloped on the heels of Queen Sal on the first turn. Winlock At Large checked off Queen Sal on the first turn. Lonely Jenny checked off Blue Entourage approaching the home turn.

Aston Shadow underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race. 

For The Thrill was quick to begin. Magic Panther was slow to begin.

For The Thrill, Orson Franky, Aston Shadow and Zipping Slade collided on the first turn severely Aston Shadow and Zipping Slade.

Zipping Slade failed to finish. Aston Shadow completed the event.

Following the event For The Thrill underwent a post-race veterinary examination as the greyhound had a seizure in the catching pen.  A 28 day stand down penalty was imposed.  Acting in accordance with GAR 74 For The Thrill must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 72 and a veterinary clearance must be furnished to GRV before any trial nomination will be accepted.

Aston Shadow underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on right foreleg.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Zipping Slade underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left radius/ulna fracture. Zipping Slade was humanely euthanased.
