Steward's Report
Aston Shadow underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race.
For The Thrill was quick to begin. Magic Panther was slow to begin.
For The Thrill, Orson Franky, Aston Shadow and Zipping Slade collided on the first turn severely Aston Shadow and Zipping Slade.
Zipping Slade failed to finish. Aston Shadow completed the event.
Following the event For The Thrill underwent a post-race veterinary examination as the greyhound had a seizure in the catching pen. A 28 day stand down penalty was imposed. Acting in accordance with GAR 74 For The Thrill must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 72 and a veterinary clearance must be furnished to GRV before any trial nomination will be accepted.
Aston Shadow underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on right foreleg. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Zipping Slade underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left radius/ulna fracture. Zipping Slade was humanely euthanased.
