All persons attending today wore facemasks when required, checked in, observed social distance requirements, and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

Maybe A Blazer and Superior Thunder collided at the 300m mark.  Maybe A Blazer and Lathan Bale collided several times from the 250m mark to the 50m mark.

A post-race sample was taken from Superior Thunder - winner of the event. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Blue Chai Latte.

Blue Chai Latte and Aston Bonner collided soon after the start checking Aston Bonner.  Shadow Jumper and Aston Bonner collided approaching the 250m mark and again at the 250m mark.  My Amelda Rose and Aston Bonner collided at the 150m mark.  Our Magic Miss and Feel Like Flying collided approaching the 100m mark and again at the 100m mark.  My Amelda Rose and Aston Bonner collided approaching the 50m mark.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. D Trickey, the Trainer of Our Magic Miss as some noticeable betting fluctuations were noted by Stewards.  Mrs. Trickey told Stewards that the greyhound trialled well at Healesville on Friday, 1 April in a time of 17:24.  Ms. Trickey also advised that she did not support the greyhound.  A post-race sample was taken from Our Magic Miss - 2nd placegetter in the event. 

Hooded Monkey and Yeah Sweetie collided soon after the start, the 200m mark and again at the 100m mark. 

Raw Panic, Half A Double and Shadow Jewel collided at the 250m mark.  Billy Tirch lost ground at the 150m mark.

Billy Tirch underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Affair Fantasy and Johnny One Thing collided soon after the start.  Jerry Buzzard and Cranky Bruce collided approaching the 250m mark.  Jerry Buzzard, Cranky Bruce and Affair Fantasy collided at the 200m mark. 

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Jayville Menace with Trainer Mr Jason Formosa and noted their comments.

Jimmy Maker was slow to begin. Jayville Menace and Jimmy Maker collided soon after the start.  Braemar Wallace and Gutherson collided soon after the start.  Breamar Wallace, Gutherson and Aston Rapide collided soon after the start.  Gutherson checked off Breamar Wallace approaching the 250m mark.  Jayville Menace crossed out approaching the 250m mark checking Vinny Can Gogh, Jimmy Maker and Ted Do.  Aston Rapide checked off Breamar Wallace at the 250m mark.  Gutherson and Aston Rapide collided at the 250m mark and several times from the 150m mark to the 50m mark. 

Mr Calven Russell failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Gutherson for racing.  A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 46 (2).

In accordance with LR 22 Mr Shane Drummond was issued with a warning regarding the non-compliance with the GRV Dress Code.

Sonic Sensation and Why Not Lilah were slow to begin.

Princess Lace and Anita's Special collided soon after the start.  Anita's Special, Willow Ash, Our Ryker and Sonic Sensation collided soon after the start checking Sonic Sensation.  Why Not Lilah and Willow Ash collided at the 250m mark.  Our Ryker checked off Sonic Sensation at the 200m mark.  Why Not Lilah and Colossal Fire collided at the 150m mark.  Our Ryker and Sonic Sensation collided approaching the winning post. 

Mr Shane Jackson failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Our Ryker for racing.  A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 46 (2).

Lee Will was quick to begin. Jachar was slow to begin. Pretty Much and Jachar collided soon after the start.  Pretty Much and Lee Will collided at the 300m mark.  Aston Illusion and Lee Will collided at the 275m mark checking Lee Will.  American Missile checked off Lee Will at the 250m mark.  American Missile checked off Blackpool Astro at the 200m mark.  Jachar and Blackpool Astro collided at the 150m mark.  Gel Blaster and Aston Illusion collided at the 125m mark and several times between the 125m mark to the 50m mark. 

Due to Grafton Races being postponed this race time was amended from 1:49pm to 1:52pm.

Aston Scorcher and Hardaway Nala collided soon after the start.  Gunther clipped the heels of Miss Ritzy at the 250m mark.  Miss Ritzy and King Chad collided approaching the 200m mark.  She Has Class, Aston Scorcher and King Chad collided approaching the 200m mark.  Miss Ritzy and Hardaway Nala collided several times from the 150m mark to the 100m mark.  

Aston Escudo underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race. 

Kid Malawi, All Over Max and Aston Escudo collided approaching the 250m mark.  All Over Max, St. Mary's Panda and Murt Law collided at the 250m mark.  Kid Malawi and Aston Escudo collided at the 200m mark.  St. Mary's Panda, Murt Law and Overshadowed collided at the 100m mark.  

All Over Max underwent a post-race veterinary examination following an incident in the catching pen.  No apparent injury was reported.

A post-race sample was taken from Kid Malawi - winner of the event.

Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Ian Beattie and licenced catcher Mrs Andrea Condon regarding the failure of Murt Law being caught for this event.  Stewards will reconvene the matter to at a time and date to be fixed to allow Stewards to interview further witnesses.

Mr Mark Giddings was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound, Orson Delight pursuant to GAR 33.

Orson Delight was slow to begin.

Diva Dot, Go Forward Tink, Ironclad and Aston Solar collided soon after the start.  Diva Dot, Ironclad and Aston Solar collided at the 200m mark.  Go Forward Tink, Wonders Magic and Orson Delight collide at the 200m mark.  Diva Dot and Ironclad collided several times from the 150m mark to the 50m mark.  Orson Delight crossed out at the 100m mark.  

Diva Dot will be monitored for aggression in the catching pen for future events. 

Neirbo – New declared weight of 32.3 kg, last raced at 31.2 kg.

Footy Trip Fund and Neirbo collided soon after the start.
