Steward's Report
An out of competition sample was taken from Notoriety on 29 March, 2022 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Stellar Rising – Late scratching at 8:35am due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Eureka Icon and Feel The Rhythm were slow to begin. Return Serve and Where's The Bees collided approaching the first turn. Return Serve, Where's The Bees, Notoriety and Feel The Rhythm collided on the first turn, checking Return Serve, Illegal Way and Eureka Icon and causing Notoriety to fall. Return Serve and Illegal Way collided in the home straight, checking Return Serve which brushed the running rail as a result.
Notoriety underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right shoulder injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
