All persons attending today wore facemasks when required, checked in, observed social distance requirements and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

Cook The Noodle and Spanish Gold were slow to begin. Find Focus and Mepunga Bounce collided approaching the first turn. Find Focus, Mepunga Bounce and Cawbourne Marto collided on the first turn, severely checking Cawbourne Matro and causing Find Focus to fall. Lightning Prince and Spanish Gold collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight. Argyle Lily and Mepunga Bounce collided in the home straight. 

It was noted that the muzzle of Find Focus became dislodged during the running of the event.

Cawbourne Marto underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Find Focus underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind and neck soreness.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Our Boy and Madison Rose collided approaching the first turn. Jewel Danae, Silver Valley and Our Boy collided on the first turn, checking all three greyhounds. Madison Rose, Jewel Danae and Silver Valley collided approaching the home turn. Silver Valley and Madison Rose collided on the home turn. Silver Valley and Jewel Danae collided approaching the winning post. 

Ludgate – Late scratching at 8:32am due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Mr K.Lingard was fined $100.

A pre-race sample was taken from Mr. Maui.

Ria, Chuck Attack and Shania's Dream collided soon after the start. Mountain Stew lost ground apporaching the first turn. Mr Maui, Ria, Seize Possession and Hardaway Gwennie collided on the first turn, checking Hardaway Gwennie. Seize Possession and Ria collided approaching the home turn. 

Mountain Stew underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

All Inn Scooby and Leo Giblet collided approaching the first turn. All Inn Scooby, Leo Giblet and Liberty Royal collided approaching the first turn, checking Leo Giblet. No Marjen and Aubrey collided on the first turn, severely checking Aubrey which collided with All Inn Scooby. Shore Lanka, No Marjen and Liberty Royal collided entering the home straight. 

A post-race sample was taken from Liberty Royal - the winner of the event.

An out of competition sample was taken from You Know Me on 30 November, 2021 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Crazy OId Fool, Jax and Plumb collided soon after start and again approaching the first turn, checking Jax. You Know Me, Crazy Old Fool and Plumb collided on the first turn, severly checking Crazy Old Fool.

An out of competition sample was taken from Notoriety on 29 March, 2022 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Stellar Rising – Late scratching at 8:35am due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

Eureka Icon and Feel The Rhythm were slow to begin. Return Serve and Where's The Bees collided approaching the first turn. Return Serve, Where's The Bees, Notoriety and Feel The Rhythm collided on the first turn, checking Return Serve, Illegal Way and Eureka Icon and causing Notoriety to fall. Return Serve and Illegal Way collided in the home straight, checking Return Serve which brushed the running rail as a result. 

Notoriety underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right shoulder injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Ertugrul Bey, Just The Marjen, Jagger's Lady and Odessa Rock collided approaching the first turn. Ertugrul Bey and Odessa Rock collided on the first turn, checking Jagger's Lady. Lady Belladonna contacted the running rail approaching the home turn and lost ground. 

Lady Belladonna underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

A post-race sample was taken from Deedee's Charm - the winner of the event.

Fashion Icon and Blue Vein collided approaching the first turn. Blue Vein faltered and tailed off approaching the first turn. Mohinga Chase and Why Delila collided on the first turn, checking Mohinga Chase. Aston Kenno and Orejitas collided approaching the home turn, checking Aston Kenno. Aston Kenno and Why Delila collided in the home straight. 

Blue Vein underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist sprain.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Parade, Ms S.Evans did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.

A pre-race sample was taken from Udeyan Bale.

Miss Tenzig, Charming Meeka, Denis The Menace, Wonder Lomar and Kaiden collided on the first turn, checking Miss Tenzing and Wonder Lomar. Miss Tenzing and Wonder Lomar collided approaching the home turn, checking Miss Tenzing. Denis The Menace and Teofimo collided on the home turn. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Oh Suzie.

Beach Master, Ramona and Short Deuce collided on the first turn, checking Short Deuce. Johnny Be Good and Ramona collided approaching the home turn. 

Fort Kembla underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr Darren Peterse regarding Fort Kembla escaping the catching pen. The Stewards noted that Fort Kembla had demonstrated this same practise at Bendigo on 12 March 2022 and was issued with a warning on that occasion. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 and being mindful of the safety of Fort Kembla, other greyhounds in the race and staff that triage these types of incidents, the Stewards were not satisfied with the performance and placed Fort Kembla on a satisfactory trial under GAR 71, and in accordance with GAR 72, with the condition that Fort Kembla needs to not escape the catching pen in order to pass the trial.
