Steward's Report
Maddingley Magic was slow to begin.
Boes Bambino and Bold Voyager collided at the 250m mark. Maddingley Magic lost ground at the 125m mark. Bold Voyager visibly eased approaching the winning post.
Bold Voyager underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left pencil/whip injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Bernie Ender regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Bold Voyager was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Ender pleaded guilty to the charge, Bold Voyager was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Maddingley Magic underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left calf injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
