Steward's Report
Balmoral was quick to begin.
Bearing Gold and Oakvale Cruiser collided soon after the start. Magic Mark, Locked And Ready and Cool Stone collided approaching the first turn. Bearing Gold crossed to the outside on the first turn and race wide on the home turn.
Oakvale Cruiser underwent a post-race veterinary examination by request of the Trainer and was found to have a laceration to the left hind toes. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Satisfactory Trials:
Hacker – FTC - Field of 4, Distance 400m, Weight 32.8kg, Box 8, Placed 1st, Time Run 22.759 - Comment: Cleared all tracks.
Jovi Bale – Marring - Field of 4, Distance 400m, Weight 32.1kg, Box 4, Comment: the muzzle of Jovi Bale became lodged in the greyhounds mouth in the home straight, causing the greyhound to fall. Jovi Bale was subsequently not cleared.
Jovi Bale underwent a post-trial veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
