Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Coconino.
Brindle Fire was slow to begin.
Clever Trevor and Go Forward Tink collided soon after the start checking Go Forward Tink. Our Frankie and Coconino collided on the first turn checking Our Frankie. Our Frankie and Coconino collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.
Following the event Mayhem Thrill displayed signs of Post Exercise Distress Syndrome (PEDS). As a result, the greyhound underwent a veterinary examination and was found to be displaying clinical signs of Ataxia/Hypermetria. A 10 day stand down penalty was imposed. Acting under the provisions of GAR 74, Stewards ordered Mayhem Thrill to perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, plus a veterinary clearance of fitness before any future nomination will be accepted.
