Frothy's Bradman checked off Nicolson Bale on the home turn. Moonlight Kiss and Frothy's Bradman collided on several ocassions in the home straight. Swifty and Moraine Suzie collided in the home straight checking Moraine Suzie. Frothy's Bradman checked off Moonlight Kiss approaching the winning post. Jab turned its head outwards and marred Moraine Suzie approaching the winning post checking Moraine Suzie.

Blazing Joe underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg abraded carpal stopper. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Jab underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg carpal sprain wrist injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Glenn Petrie, the trainer of Jab regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Jab was charged with marring. Mr Petrie pleaded guilty to the charge, Jab was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warrnambool and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Slingshot Trojan crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Markus Rhode, Mepunga Knight and Colden Brookie. Mepunga Knight and Markus Rhode collided on the first turn checking Markus Rhode and Zimmer Bale. Benchester checked off Slingshot Trojan approaching the home turn checking Mepunga Knight. Slingshot Trojan checked off Aston Minerva approaching the home turn. Benchester and Colden Brookie collided in the home straight. 

Slingshot Trojan underwent a post-race veterinary examination after an incident in the catching pen and was found to have a abrasion bruising and a laceration to both metatarsals. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Aztec Blaze was quick to begin. Malo Magic was slow to begin.

Raichu and Bus Driver collided soon after the start. Hot Diesel and Raichu collided soon after the start. Hot Diesel checked off Aztec Blaze on the first turn. Malo Magic and Aztec Blaze collided approaching the home turn. Bus Driver galloped on Aztec Blaze approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Bus Driver stumbled as a result. Zara's Princess was slow to begin.

Milana Rose and Mepunga Mantra collided on the first turn checking Milana Rose. Brecken Bale contacted the running rail approaching the home turn checking Yahiro bale and Mepunga Mantra and severely checking Brecken Bale which fell as a result. 

Brecken Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg toe injury and a left hindleg stifle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
