Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Aston Minerva.
Slingshot Trojan crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Markus Rhode, Mepunga Knight and Colden Brookie. Mepunga Knight and Markus Rhode collided on the first turn checking Markus Rhode and Zimmer Bale. Benchester checked off Slingshot Trojan approaching the home turn checking Mepunga Knight. Slingshot Trojan checked off Aston Minerva approaching the home turn. Benchester and Colden Brookie collided in the home straight.
Slingshot Trojan underwent a post-race veterinary examination after an incident in the catching pen and was found to have a abrasion bruising and a laceration to both metatarsals. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
